I’m not sure whether this happens often, but should you find yourself confronted by a mindset of some sort, this week’s episode will help you identify which it is.
Each takes a very different view of the world and in this episode of the Monday Morning Minute I share some characteristics of a Fixed Mindset and a Growth Mindset.
Which do you think you have?

Hi it's Michael Tipper and I'd like to welcome you to this week's episode of the Monday Morning Minute.
Previously I've skirted around the concept of the Fixed and Growth Mindset.
In the next few episodes, we're going to explore both in greater depth around challenge, problems, effort, criticism and success.
But today all I want you to do is ponder on these definitions straight out of Carol Dweck's seminal book - Mindset:
People with a fixed mindset thrive when things are safely within their grasp.
People with a growth mindset however thrive when they're stretching themselves.
People with a fixed mindset are only interested in feedback that reflects their ability.
People with a growth mindset however pay close attention to information that could stretch their knowledge.
People with a fixed mindset don't want to expose their deficiencies
People with a growth mindset however believe success includes learning from their mistakes
Having heard those definitions are you more fixed in your mindset or do you have a growth mindset.
Think about that.
Until next week.
