After looking at some of the definitions of the Fixed and Growth Mindset in previous episodes, the next few episodes will explain how each differ in their behaviour to what we experience each day.
This week the Monday Morning Minute is going to focus on how both mindsets deal with something we all have to face.
You might be surprised at just how different their reaction is to the same thing.

Welcome to this week's episode of the Monday Morning Minute.
Last week we looked at some definitions of a Fixed and Growth Mindset.
This week we're going to explore how each handles challenge.
Life is going to throw all sorts of challenges at us especially in any learning or work environments.
If you have a fixed mindset, you'll handle challenge very different from someone with a growth mindset.
Last week I shared that people with a fixed mindset thrive on things within their grasp. They do that to either boost or at the very least protect their identity as someone of ability.
And as a result they will avoid any form of challenge that might threaten their self concept of being successful.
On the other hand, Growth Mindset people relish the opportunity to stretch themselves and test their ability to learn and grow. They embrace challenge with enthusiasm and an anticipation of something positive coming from it.
So when it comes to challenge do you have a fixed or growth mindset.
As a manager, how does your remote team embrace challenge?
Until next week
